Licensed and Certified Highlands Tree Service Company
The Highlands Tree Services
DLC Arbor Services is a prescription-based Highlands tree service company, which means a tree diagnosis by our Master Arborist defines all work performed. He generates a quotation, and the job begins upon customer approval. We do not propose any unnecessary tree service work beyond our arborist’s diagnosis. DLC Arbor is an A+ BBB Accredited Business and endorsed by Team Dave Logan. For an appointment, please fill out the service request form at the bottom of this page or give us a call at 303-378-8000.
Highlands Urban Forest
Columbine is known for its tree-lined streets and family-friendly neighborhoods. To get shade fast, homeowners in the 1970s and 1980s planted Cottonwoods and Silver Poplars. Cottonwoods drink over 100 gallons of water per day and grow enormous. Silver Poplars are disease-prone. Call DLC Arbor for tree removal and for assistance selecting shade trees that thrive in the Denver area.

Custom Tree Pruning
The people who settled in the Highlands over 100 years ago planted Silver Maples because they wanted shade, and they knew these Maples grew fast and big. Maples grow to over 80 feet tall and are quite majestic. However, these softwood trees are prone to limb breakage and require more pruning compared to other species.
Tree Removal and Stump Grinding
The urban forest is slowly changing. Coffee trees, Oaks, and more hardy trees are replacing the once-common Silver Maples. These trees are better for the Highlands because they require less care. Silver Maples, prone to hollowing, die from the inside out. If a tree starts to lean, it is time to cut it down. DLC Arbor safely removes the largest aged, diseased Silver Maple trees. After removal, we grind the large stumps down to below ground grade and backfill with top soil.
