Glendale Colorado Tree Service

golden colorado tree services

Glendale has a rich and interesting mix of the historic and the modern. In 1859, the Four Mile House was one of the stagecoach stops for travelers on their way to Denver City via the Cherokee Trail. Today, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is housed within the beautiful Four Mile Historic Park. Glendale is also the proud home of Infinity Park, a well-known sports and entertainment complex, and the location of the first municipal U.S. rugby stadium. DLC Arbor offers both residential and commercial tree service.

Tree Removal

Sometimes a tree is decaying, diseased, or storm damaged and needs to be removed in order to protect your family and your property. You may have utility lines that are endangered by continued growth, or you may have an overwhelming amount of seasonal clean up to do with certain trees. Our experienced crews can safely and efficiently remove problem trees, haul away all the debris, and remove the stumps to below ground level so you can either replace the tree or install grass sod. Tree Insect Control

The two most common elm trees in Colorado are the American elm and the Siberian elm. They are popular in our state because they can tolerate some of the most extreme growing conditions. Unfortunately, the over-planted elm is plagued by a variety of leaf feeding insects including elm leaf beetle, elm leaf miner and aphids. These insects are so common that treatment is required annually. Damage includes "shot holes,” interveinal skeletonization and dripping honeydew. Some trees can be defoliated or the leaves made useless. We have found that the best way to achieve control is through soil injection of insecticides in spring. If you have an elm tree that may need treatment, or if you have other tree insect concerns, contact DLC Arbor Tree Services. We will work with you to find the perfect treatment strategy for your Glendale landscape. Click here for more information about DLC's tree health services.
